The British Country Music Festival launches in Blackpool from the 13th to the 15th September and primarily celebrates the best of British Country and Americana artists and particularly those who are making Nashville sit up and take notice.
Women take all three headline spots with Ward Thomas, Catherine McGrath, Sarah Darling and Twinnie performing in the spectacular Empress Ballroom. There will five stages and over 100 artists performing and everything is indoors!
Support artists include Laura Oakes, Honey Ryder, The Adelaides, Worry Dolls, The Fatherline, Rob Heron & The Tea Pad Orchestra, Jake Morrell, Danny McMahon, Beth Rowley, Blair Dunlop, Simon James, Jeannine Barry, Remember Monday and many more. Country Hits Radio presenter Matt Spracklen will host the main stage on Friday and Sunday and host two DJ sets taking the party into the early hours.
There will be several bars, catering options and traders so everything inside the stunning Winter Gardens entertainment complex. With a sub theme of neon to celebrate Blackpool’s illuminations which will be shining throughout the weekend, festival goers are encourage to don their best outfits and make the most of the end of festival season.
